ASP-SQL In this example of ASP and SQL, I worked with Schwalm and Associates to determine the most cost effective way to help his customers navigate through 8,000 RV appliance parts to find what they needed. We determined to give the customer the ability to find most any RV part on his site by grouping like parts into part categories, and then showing a digital photo of a representative part for all the parts in that grouping. Because we only had to photograph several dozen parts instead of 8,000 parts it reduced the cost of the project. It became a simple matter for the customer to find the part, once the model number was determined from the appliance itself. The project utilized the Query Analyzer, Enterprise Manager, ASP, SQL, HTML, and MS Access. |
